Council plans new 140 bed hotel in Llanelli

Carmarthenshire County Council has outlined plans for the development of a new 140 bed hotel in Machynys, Llanelli.
Set along the stunning Llanelli coastline, the proposed hotel will offer a range of relaxation opportunities to promote wellness and provide a fantastic opportunity to boost visitor numbers to the area.
The proposed development forms part of the council’s ‘Pentre Awel’ plans at Delta Lakes opposite the hotel site.
Cllr Emlyn Dole, Carmarthenshire County Council Leader said: “The proposed plans to build a new 140 bed hotel in Machynys will provide fantastic tourism and employment opportunities to the area as well as complimenting the exciting Pentre Awel development which will provide state-of-the-art business, training, health and well-being facilities for residents and visitors”.
Details of the proposed pre-planning application, plans and supporting documents can be viewed on the Llanelli Waterside website.
