Neath man jailed for drugs offences

A 39-year-old man has been sentenced to over 4 years imprisonment for drug related offences.
Christian Jones, of Neath, was given a total of 49 months and four weeks imprisonment at Swansea Crown Court for possession with intent to supply heroin.
A number of wraps of heroin were found after Neath Neighbourhood Policing team executed a warrant at an address in Whittington Street in August last year.
Neighbourhood beat manager Rhys Thomas said: “As neighbourhood officers it is very much our role to address the issues which are of concern to our communities and this includes drugs.
“Our proactive action has meant another drug dealer is behind bars but we cannot tackle the issue of drug dealing on our own – we do need your help – if you are aware of any drug dealing activity please tell us what you know.”
You can report drug dealing activity via 101, by email: publicservicecentre@south-wales.pnn.police.uk or online https://www.south-wales.police.uk/ro/report alternatively you report information anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
