Several properties in Clase had a 8am morning call from officers on Friday (30 April) as they carried out warrants at three different properties.

The warrants were all executed simultaneously at 8am on Friday morning. A 38 year old man and a 39 year old woman have both been arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs. Cash and drugs were recovered from the properties.

Detective Inspector Marc Gardner said: “These warrants have been executed as part of our commitment in fighting organised crime. As a result of these warrants drugs and cash obtained by criminal activity has been removed from the streets.

“South Wales Police is determined to tackle the supply of drugs in our communities, as the circulation of such items causes real and considerable harm. I hope these arrests provides reassurance to our communities that we are taking action against those suspected of being involved in dealing Class A drugs.

“We will actively seek to disrupt drug activity and pursue those that look to participate in this kind of activity within our communities, in order to protect the public.”
