New Swansea businesses are to be given a masterclass in harnessing the power of social media.

The free online get-together on July 8, fronted by digital specialist Rebecca Wade, is targeted at those who have just set up a new enterprise – or are planning to do so.

It will be the first regular meeting of the new Start-up Enterprise Club which, as it grows, will explore a wide range of topics that can help businesses thrive.

The club has been launched by Swansea Council’s Business Swansea team.

Rebecca’s advice – for beginners in using social media for business – will include guidance on choosing the best platforms, developing clever tactics and how to plan regular engaging content.

Council cabinet member Robert Francis-Davies said: “The Start-up Enterprise Club is aimed specifically at start-up or pre-start businesses – and it will feature regular events full of short, sharp briefings allowing businesses to implement their learning straight away.”

The first meeting of the Business Swansea Start-Up Enterprise Club is due to take place on Microsoft Teams from 10-11.30am on Thursday, July 8. Free bookings: www.bit.ly/BSSenterprise01
