Body found in search for missing Llanelli man

Dyfed Powys Police have confirmed that a body was found on Friday 16 July in the search for missing Llanelli man, Andrew Davies.

Formal identification of the body has not yet taken place. Police have informed Andrew’s next of kin of the discovery.

Andrew Davies was last seen on Sunday 4 July, wearing a grey t-shirt, blue jeans and walking boots.

Dyfed Powys Police described him as 6ft 1in tall, with grey hair and a black and grey beard, and when he was last seen he was wearing a grey t-shirt, blue jeans and walking boots.

CCTV images captured him walking near Sandy Water Park at around 7.23pm on the day he went missing. He has not been seen since, and has not been in contact with family or friends.
