Swansea’s Sin City scoops BID customer care award

Popular Swansea night spot, Sin City, has been recognised for its outstanding customer care by Swansea BID (Business Improvement District).

The much-loved venue, that has been operating in Dillwyn Street for 10 years has introduced local music fans to acts including Ed Sheeran, Ben Howard, Lower Than Atlantis, Example, Funeral for a Friend, The Twang, Plan B, Black Stone Cherry and more, while offering a warm welcome and an independent vibe.

Operations Manager at Swansea BID, Andrew Douglas, said: “Our venue and hospitality businesses have been going through such difficult times due to the pandemic and its ongoing restrictions and they have been at the front line of helping to keep people safe while doing their best to offer visitors the kind of enjoyable experience they expect.

“As owner of Sin City, but also the head of Swansea Hospitality Forum, Gary has been working hard to support Swansea city centre’s hospitably and night time venues through this difficult time. He has also found the impetus to open a new venue, The Jam Jar, in High Street, which I know will offer the same top quality customer care. We wish him continued success with these ventures that bring so much vibrancy to the city centre.”
