The latest situation based on the current forecasts – and liable to change – suggests closures to high sided vehicles are likely on the Cleddau Bridge this afternoon (Wednesday 16 February) from about 12pm and continuing through the early hours of Thursday morning.

On Friday (18 February), closure to high sided vehicles is anticipated from around 2am, and full closure from about 5am for several hours, causing significant disruption to commuting traffic.

Any downgrade to a closure to high sided vehicles only is likely to continue until mid-afternoon at the earliest.

Over the weekend reduced wind speeds are forecast but sporadic high sided closures may be needed, particularly on Sunday.
