Pedestrian killed on M4 at Swansea named
The victim of a fatal road traffic collision which happened on the M4 near Swansea on Friday February 18 has been named.
Thavarajah Sasikaran, 41, from the Waun Wen area of Swansea was killed when walking on the M4 Westbound between Junctions 46 for Llangyfelach and Junction 47 for Penllergaer.
South Wales Police are continuing to investigate the collision which happened shortly before 8.35pm on Friday 18 February.
The collision involved a silver Nissan Qashqai and a pedestrian, who despite best efforts, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers are appealing for anyone who has yet to come forward who may have witnessed the collision or has dash-cam footage of what happened or who may have seen the victim on foot walking along the motorway to contact South Wales Police, quoting occurrence *057156.
