Electric cars will lead South Wales Marathons and 10k races as part of new sponsorship deal

The organisers of many of the marathons and 10k races in South Wales, Front Runner Events have announced Nathaniel Cars as their official vehicle partner for the events this year.
This means that thousands of runners will be led by the official electric vehicle at the JCP Swansea Half Marathon, M&D Care Llanelli Half Marathon and Cardiff Metropolitan University Cardiff 10K races.
The team at Front Runner Events say they’re excited to be working with Nathaniel Cars, who are a family-run business and well-known car dealership in South Wales operating for over 35 years at their showrooms in Bridgend and Cardiff.
David Martin-Jewell of Front Runner Events said: “It is wonderful to be working with Nathanial Cars across our events this year. The team at Nathaniel are a wonderful bunch of people, who like us, put people at the heart of everything they do.
“We look forward to building an exciting partnership going forward and can’t wait to see the official vehicle at the start line, leading runners on to achieving an electrifying performance on race day!”

Nathan Griffiths of Nathaniel Cars said: “We are proud to be sponsoring Front Runner Events and many of their upcoming races hosted across Wales.
“As the official vehicle partner, we have supplied them with the latest 100% electric MG5 for use on the lead up to and during their events. Allowing us to showcase the very best electric vehicle technology and helping Front Runner Events take the lead at their races!”
