Four police vehicles have windscreens smashed in late-night Townhill vandalism

South Wales Police are appealing for the public’s help after four police vehicles parked outside Townhill Police Station had their windscreens smashed.
The damage happened at around 1.30am last night (Tuesday 3 May).
Police have released CCTV footage which shows two people on a moped drive up to the parked vehicles, with one then systematically smashing each of the vehicle’s windscreens.
A spokesperson for South Wales Police said: “Criminal damage to any car is unacceptable. But the safety, and sometimes lives, of the public depends on the availability of our vehicles.
“If you have any info, CCTV or dashcam footage which could help identify those responsible, please contact us quoting ref 2200145520.”
