Two airlifted to hospital after Kidwelly motorbike collision


A motorbike rider and their pillion passenger have both been airlifted to hospital after a collision with a vehicle in Kidwelly on Saturday (16 July).
The accident on Ferry Road in the town, happened around 7pm and involved a black Chevrolet car and a motorbike.
The car driver was arrested at the scene for causing serious injury by careless driving after failing a roadside drugs test. He remains in police custody.
The road reopened at 4.30am on Sunday morning (17 July).
Dyfed Powys Police are asking anyone with information about the collision to contact them on 101 or online quoting reference DP-20220716-350.
