Cyclist seriously injured after Bonymaen collision


South Wales Police are appealing for information after a cyclist was involved in a serious collision on Bonymaen Road in Swansea yesterday (Tuesday 23 August).
The collision between the 40 year-old male cyclist and a blue Peugeot 108 occurred at approximately 5.50pm.
The cyclist was taken to the University Hospital of Wales where he remains in a serious condition.
A spokesperson for South Wales Police said: “We want to hear from anyone who saw the collision, or the moments leading up to it, or may have dash cam footage of the incident, is requested to contact the Roads Policing Unit quoting occurrence 2200286422.
“We want to thank the community for their patience while the road was closed for a significant time to allow investigation work to be carried out.
