Three teenagers arrested after Morriston attempted robbery


South Wales Police have arrested three people on suspicion of attempted robbery after an incident on Woodfield Street in Morriston last night (Friday 30 September).
Police were called to Woodfield Street at 9.40pm to reports of an attempt robbery of a man by the cash machine and of a witness being threatened with a knife when he tried to intervene.
The road was closed for a short while and two males, aged 19 and 18, and an 18-year-old woman are in custody.
A spokesperson for South Wales Police said: “Several people were in the area at the time, and it is believed some of the incident may have been filmed by members of the public.
“Witnesses or anyone with mobile phone footage is asked to please contact police online or call 101 quoting reference *332154.”
