Three charged over Ystradgynlais knife incident


Three people have been charged by police investigating reports that a woman had been assaulted with a knife in Ystradgynlais in the early hours of Tuesday, 1 November.
Officers from Dyfed Powys Police were called to Pen y Bryn in the town at around 1.55am to find the woman had suffered injuries in the incident.
She woman was taken to hospital, but has since been discharged.
Teresa Dilys Morgan-Peters, aged 44, of Dolfain, Ystradgynlais; Kathryn Llewellyn, aged 42, of Golwg y Mynydd, Godregraig; and Gregory Alexander Morgan, aged 36, of Heol Meurig, Lower Cwmtwrch, Ystradgynlais, have all been charged with conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH).
Llewellyn and Morgan-Peters have also been charged with wounding with intent, aggravated burglary and possession of a bladed article.
All three appeared before Merthyr Magistrates Court today (Monday 7 November) when they were remanded into custody.
