48 year-old man charged after cannabis factory discovered in Maesteg home

South Wales Police have charged a 48 year-old man after raiding a property on Waun Fach Terrace in Nantymoel, where they uncovered a cannabis factory.
Police say this highly sophisticated set up came to light as a result of information a PCSO gathered from the local community.
Over 200 plants were seized with a potential street value of over £60,000.
48-year-old Bardhok Marku, was charged and remanded into custody
A spokesperson from South Wales Police said: “Every cannabis farm we destroy helps prevent a vicious circle.
“The plants won’t end up as street deals, the profits won’t go on to fund other crime, and they won’t ruin lives or pollute our communities.”
