Discount food retailer launches £15 Christmas dinner for 4 – including turkey and all the trimmings

Discount food retailer Heron Foods say they’re offering a lifeline to families across the UK by offering a market-leading Christmas dinner deal for four, for just £15 (£3.75 per person) – and you’ll be glad to hear it also includes a Turkey Joint with all the trimmings!
The budget supermarket, part of discounter B&M Group, has priced their Christmas dinner deal to undercut larger rivals, with the same meal at ASDA costing £20, and £25 at Tesco.
Heron Foods say with the cost-of-living crisis being very much upon us, so many families are beginning to worry about how they’re going to afford Christmas this year.
The frozen Christmas dinner deal means that families across the UK won’t need to switch up one of the most iconic British traditions – and will be able to feed a whole family of four and still have a magical Merry Christmas.
The Christmas dinner includes a Turkey Joint with Pork, Sage and Onion Stuffing (900g), Roasted Root Vegetables (500g), Cauliflower Cheese (325g), Duck Fat Roast Potatoes (700g), Brussels Sprouts with Bacon (500g), 12 Pigs in Blankets (240g) and Chantenay Carrots with Butter (500g).
The dinner even includes the element that continues to divide opinions and be the subject of a hot topic on Christmas Day with families across the country – the iconic Yorkshire Pudding (220g), traditionally only eaten with roast beef on a Sunday lunch, with some seeing this inclusion as controversial.
The Yorkshire-based firm say they are firmly in the belief that a Yorkshire Pudding does belong on a Christmas Dinner, so fans of this idea will be glad to hear that you can grab four Aunt Bessie’s 4 Spectacular Yorkshires (220g) as part of the deal to complete the perfect pocket-friendly Christmas dinner.
The frozen Christmas dinner works out at just £3.75 per person and families can purchase the deal ahead of time to get prepared for the big day with the deal being live in stores nationwide from 27th November 2022.
Tony Dobbs, Managing Director of Heron Foods said: “We’re delighted to be bringing this fantastic-value festive dinner deal for our customers in the lead-up to Christmas Day. So many families across the country are feeling the effects of the cost-of-living crisis and we’re hoping this deal will help those families enjoy one of the most iconic British Christmas traditions without worrying about the cost.”
