Two arrested after 60 year-old man stabbed in Clase


South Wales Police have arrested two people after a 60 year-old man was stabbed in the Clase area of Swansea.
Police have launched an appeal for information following the attack on Elan Avenue around 6.40pm on Sunday (4 December).
Detective Sergeant Andrew Harris said: “South Wales Police was called just after 6.40pm on Sunday 4th December following reports of an altercation on Elan Avenue, Clase, Swansea.
“Officers attended and found a 60-year-old man had been stabbed.
“A 20-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of assault by beating. A 17-year-old male teenager has been arrested on suspicion of Section 18, wounding with intent, and criminal damage. Both are from Clase. They are currently in police custody.
“The 60-year-old victim was taken to hospital where his condition is believed to be neither life threatening nor life changing.”
South Wales Police are asking anyone who may have been on Elan Avenue around 6.40pm on Sunday who has information that may help their investigation to contact them.
