Police investigate suspected ram raid at a Winch Wen shop


South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses after a suspected ram raid attempt at a convenience store in Winch Wen, Swansea.
The incident, at Arbourne’s Premier store on Carmel Road took place around 10.05pm on Friday 2 December.
Police say that a dark coloured vehicle was used to ram the shutters.
A masked man then entered the store demanding money from staff.
No-one was injured during the incident.
A spokesperson for South Wales Police said: “Enquiries are continuing however, anyone with any information in relation to the robbery, or who was on Carmel Road between 9.30pm and 10.15pm on Friday 2nd and has dashcam footage, please contact us.”
