Miss Wales beauty queen seriously injured in horror M4 car accident
Reigning Miss Wales beauty queen, Darcey Corria has been hospitalised after a serious car accident on the M4 motorway near Bridgend.

The organisers of Miss Wales confirmed that the 21 year-old beauty queen and black rights advocate sustained a number of injuries in the accident yesterday evening (Friday 20 January).
The accident which happened on the M4 eastbound between junction 35 at Pencoed and junction 36 at Sarn saw the motorway closed for several hours.
Ms Corria is reported to have sustained injuries including a broken pelvis and two breaks to bones ion her neck. She is currently being treated at University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff.
In a statement on social media, Miss Wales organisers said that Ms Corria is expected to make a full recovery and they are confident that she will be able to fly the flag for Wales at the Miss World competition in May.
Competition organisers said: “Darcey is receiving much love and support from her close family who have been reassured that she is expected to make a full recovery.
“While the accident will have an immediate impact on Darcey’s preparation for Miss World in May, we are hopeful and confident that she will still be able to fly the flag for Wales thanks to her own personal determination, the love and support of her family and the incredible team of medics at UHW.”
