These dogs at Swansea’s RSPCA Llys Nini branch are looking for ‘fur-ever’ homes
Could you provide a paws-itively won-fur-ful home for a rescue dog

Bonnie, Buddy and Pepper at Llys Nini animal centre, in Penllergaer are looking for loving homes to call their own – or for an interim stay at an experienced foster home.
Bonnie

Bonnie, a one-year-old cross breed, was taken in by the RSPCA branch when her owner was unable to cope with her needs. She is looking for a quiet home with no other animals.
Rehoming manager Julie Fadden said: “Sadly Bonnie had been left for long hours and has missed out on a lot of early socialization.
“She enjoys having affection once she gains trust in you and likes a game of fetch but she can be easily distracted by her environment so this would be safest to play in an enclosed area.
“Bonnie would benefit greatly from having an experienced owner who has the time to dedicate to her training and help to build her confidence in new situations.”
Buddy
Buddy is a three-year-old Beagle, who is looking for an experienced owner. He came into the care of RSPCA Llys Nini Branch after his owner was unable to cope with meeting his needs.
“We are really desperately searching for a home or a foster carer for the wonderful Buddy,” said Julie.
“Buddy loves his exercise and is aware of a few commands but is hopefully going to learn a few more. He can be nervous of people and in new situations, so a quiet home with few visitors would be the ideal for him.”
Pepper
Whippet/crossbreed Pepper is six years old and is looking for a quiet home in a quiet location with no other dogs.
Julie said: “Pepper is a friendly and loving dog with a gentle nature around people. She enjoys the comfort of the indoors and loves curling up in a cwtchy blanket. She really enjoys her food and this has been her main motivation for training.
“Pepper is great with her basic commands and will need an owner who can continue further training with her. When she arrived with us Pepper was very reactive around other dogs, but she has really made a substantial amount of progress and is now able to walk with one or two dogs if introduced slowly.”
All the dogs available for rehoming can be viewed on the RSPCA Llys Nini Branch website.
Julie added: “If you are interested in adopting one of our amazing dogs please get in touch. Or if you can help us by fostering we would love to hear from you.
“Due to the cost of living crisis and other factors we are full to bursting and we always have pets waiting to come in so we can rehabilitate and rehome them.
“Rehoming has really slowed down at the moment, so if you are considering and able to take on a pet, please consider rehoming a rescue animal instead of buying.”
