Two-day Welsh-themed festival coming to Swansea
A two-day festival is coming to Swansea with some big-name chefs, live music and a lot of fun.

Croeso Festival say they’ll bring the feel-good factor to the city centre with their varied programme of entertainment.
Swansea’s festival celebrating all things Welsh, Croeso, will be packing lots of excitement into the city centre when it returns on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 February.
The free event is organised by Swansea Council in association with First Cymru and support from Welsh Government’s Food & Drink Wales.
Councillor Robert Francis-Davies, cabinet member for investment, regeneration and tourism, said: “Croeso kicks off our annual events programme and we’re excited to be bringing it back again to Swansea.
“It’s a great opportunity to showcase some fantastic Welsh food and drink and also attract new people into the city centre to see some of the chefs in action and experience something new in Swansea.”

First Cymru general manager Chris Hanson said: “We’re so glad to be part of daily community life in Wales and feel enormously privileged to be able to support this very special celebration of all things Welsh.
“Croeso promises to be a great two days in Swansea and we’re expecting, of course, to be transporting hundreds of our customers to the event.”
Visitors heading to Croeso, held each day from 11am-4pm, can expect to enjoy an exciting line-up of entertainment and cooking demonstrations that will get taste buds tingling. What’s more, it is free to attend, so visitors can just wander around the city centre venues and tap into what they fancy.
Welsh food and drink is at the heart of Croeso, with a dedicated marquee in Portland Street for a packed programme of cooking demonstrations. Heading the line-up of celebrity chefs and home cooks will be Great British Menu’s Hywel Griffith and Nathan Davies, alongside TV’s John Partridge – the Celebrity Masterchef winner will be showcasing Welsh lamb when he cooks a delicious meatball dish.
The sounds of Welsh music will bring Castle Square to life and there’ll be a fun atmosphere with children’s activities and entertainment, including the St David’s Trail to follow and bag yourself a prize.
Croeso, put on by Swansea Council, is a free event, held in Swansea city centre on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 February, between 10am and 4pm. You will find all you need to know about the event and programmed entertainment at www.enjoyswanseabay.com.
