Free trees are being given away at this Pembrokeshire stately home estate
Free trees are being given away for people to plant in their own gardens at Scolton Manor near Haverfordwest this week.

Feeling like it’s time to start sprucing up the garden? You can also support the fight against climate change with the help of the Coed Cadw, the Woodland Trust in Wales.
Trees for planting can be picked up from Scolton Manor this week as one of Pembrokeshire’s ‘My Tree, Our Forest’ hubs.
This national scheme allows residents to pick up a free, native broadleaf tree, for their gardens.
There are nine different species available – elder, rowan, field maple, hawthorn, sessile oak, dogwood, hazel, silver birch and crab apple.
It follows a promise made by Deputy Climate Change Minister Lee Waters in December last year that every household in Wales would be offered a free tree.
The trees will grow into small-medium sized trees suitable for gardens and smaller spaces, and will come with planting instructions.
As they mature they’ll lock up carbon, fight the effects of climate change and support wildlife.
You can collect your free tree from Scolton Manor between 2pm and 4pm on Thursday, 23rd February or Saturday, 25th February.
There are also opportunities to pick up a tree from Scolton Manor on March 2nd, 9th and 18th.
