St Dogmaels school evacuated after gas leak
A primary school in St Dogmaels, Pembrokeshire has been evacuated after a suspected gas leak.

Pembrokeshire County Council are reporting that the 80 children and 10 staff at Ysgol Llandudoch have been evacuated to St Dogmaels Memorial Hall.
The school was evacuated at lunchtime today (Tuesday 7 March) after a strong smell of gas in the area.
A gas leak was identified at Maeshyfryd road, and Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service, Dyfed Powys Police and Wales and West Utilities are in attendance.
The council say that all children and staff are safe, with parents being advised that their children can be collected from the Memorial Hall.
A spokesperson from Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 1.08pm on Tuesday, March 7th, the Cardigan crew were called to an incident in St Dogmaels.
“A gas leak had been caused by machine work being carried out. A cordon was set up at the incident, neighbouring domestic properties were confirmed empty by crew members. The neighbouring Ysgol Gymunedol Llandudoch/St Dogmaels Community School had already evacuated prior to the crew’s arrival.
“A 3-inch hole in the gas pipe was stemmed using putty. West Wales Utilities were also in attendance and the incident was passed over to them. The crew left the scene at 2.21pm.”
