Loughor 15-year-old is finalist in Miss Teen Great Britain competition
Ffion Colwill, 15 from Loughor who attends Penyrheol Comprehensive has gained a place in the Miss Teen Great Britain grand finals.

Having beaten hundreds of applications, Ffion will be at Blackpool in October for the Miss Teen Great Britain finals, representing her city as Miss Teen Swansea.
Ffion said: “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to represent Swansea as ‘Miss Teen Swansea 2023’. I am planning to organise a fundraiser for Together for short lives which is the charity the pageant supports.
“I would also like to raise awareness for girls that have ADHD which is something that is very close to her heart.”
Ffion was a rhythmic gymnast with Llanelli Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy until recently as she was forced to retire due to an injury she sustained outside of the gym. She is still involved with the club and volunteers her time to coach the next generation of gymnasts.
Ffion also models for the Welsh Photography Events and more recently walked the catwalk for The Welsh National Prom Show.
Ffion is currently looking for sponsorship to help her reach her dream of attending the grand finals in October.
