Wagamama’s Swansea ‘noodle union’ to offer free drinks and sides throughout March
Restaurant chain wagamama have announced that they’re extending their student discount membership “noodle union” to apprentices – and are offering free drinks and sides when bought with a main course by a noodle union member.

The offer, which is available at 22 of the chain’s restaurants across the UK – including on Swansea’s Wind Street from now until 28th March on Monday and Tuesday each week.
The latest announcement comes from self-proclaimed Wagamama super-fan and President of the noodle union, Niko who allocated his “noodle union budget forecast” for 2023.
Each restaurant has space for 25 students at a time, on a first come first served basis, where they can make use of wagamama’s hub to study and enjoy some time away from the pressures of ongoing strikes and feelings of loneliness.
Each student will be eligible to redeem a free side and drink with the purchase of a main meal, and the first 10 students to arrive each day will receive a student care package filled with exclusive wagamama merch.
Max Simons-Dukes, Senior Brand Manager at wagamama says: “We know the current climate is challenging for young people, which is why we have made the decision to open the virtual doors of the noodle union to now include apprentices too. At wagamama, we want everyone to feel included, so the noodle union offers a safe and inclusive space where students, apprentices and wagamama can come together to feel supported, whilst reaping the benefits of giveaways, content, and competitions.”
wagamama noodle union President, Niko Omilana says: “Just when you thought this President has reached the highest heights of greatness, here I return with an announcement that we are opening the noodle union to apprentices. The young people of this country need noodle nourishment from bowl to soul and I am on a mission with wagamama to give that to students and apprentices across the UK. There is so much more to come so watch this space, and keep an eye out for me in a wagamama near you.”
