Swansea bookstore to host crime fiction panel
A panel of crime fiction authors will be headed to Swansea’s Waterstones bookstore on Thursday evening (30 March).

Chris Lloyd, author of Waterstone’s Welsh Book of the Month, The Unwanted Dead, Siân Collins (Tiding) and Natalie Marlow (Needless Alley) will all be at the store, discussing their books.
The panel will be chaired by Jackie Malton, author of The Real Prime Suspect.
Chris Lloyd is the award-winning author of The Occupation Series and The Unwanted Dead, which was Waterstones Welsh Book of the Month last year, won the Historical Writers Association Gold Crown award for best historical fiction and was the Sunday Times Crime Books of the Month.
Chris’ new novel and second in the series- PARIS REQUIEM came out on the 23rd February. The book is a gripping murder mystery and a beautifully drawn portrait of 1940s Paris under Nazi Occupation, based on eye-opening historical research and features the compelling and conflicted hero of the first book- Detective Eddie Giral at its heart.
VASEEM KHAN called it “a terrific slice of historical noir… Sparkles with Lloyd’s mordant wit and gallows humour, illuminating the depravity of an evil regime.” And Chris has many fans amongst his peers, including David Young, Mick Herron, Katherine Stansfield, Andrew Taylor as well as media including The Times andThe Sun.
Tickets for the event are priced at £3 and are available at the store or online.
