Adam Price resigns as Plaid Cymru leader in wake of bullying report
Adam Price has resigned as the leader of Plaid Cymru after a damning report into bullying, harassment and misogyny in the party was published.

Plaid Cymru has been dogged by claims of a toxic culture in the party, and it emerged last November that an allegation of sexual assault had been made against a senior member of staff.
The Prosiect Pawb report criticised the party for failing to “implement a zero-tolerance approach to sexual harassment” and that women had been “especially” let down. It also criticised “a lack of collective leadership and governance across the party”.
Price’s announcement came after a meeting of the party’s governing body on Wednesday evening.
In his resignation letter he said he felt “morally bound to step down as leader of the party” and that “it was now clear I no longer have the united support of my colleagues that would be necessary to follow this course to fruition”.
An interim leader is set to be ratified on Saturday, with a new leader in post by the Summer – although the election process is yet to be confirmed.
Price is set to continue as the Senedd member for Carmarthen East and Dinefwr.
