Uplands hair and beauty salon triumphs at national awards
Uplands hair and beauty salon, Dolly Rocks has been named Beauty Salon of the Year at the Welsh Hair and Beauty Awards 2023.

After months of anticipation and fierce competition, the awards ceremony for the 9th Welsh Hair and Beauty Awards 2023 took place on Sunday 14th May at The Cardiff City Stadium, with 600 guests in attendance.
Awards organisers say the winners represent excellence in the hair and beauty industry in Wales, adding that they have been recognised for their exceptional skills, expertise, and creativity in their respective categories, including hair salons, beauty salons, male grooming salons, spas, cosmetic clinics, makeup artists, nail salons, and beauty training academies.
Dolly Rocks Hair & Beauty, in Uplands, Swansea was one of the finalists in the Hair and Beauty Salon of the year category. The competition was fierce but Dolly Rocks Hair & Beauty received the recognition and took the trophy home.
Jodie Lerwill from Dolly Rocks Hair & Beauty said: “I am unbelievably grateful and so proud to have won this fantastic award. It is such an achievement, and means so much to myself, my salon, my clients, my friends and my family.
“There are big updates coming ahead of this for my salon, which I cannot wait to announce over the next few weeks, winning this award has just cemented this”.
