Swansea beach wedding venues among most Instagrammable in the UK

Golden sands, serene ocean views and the gentle sound of waves hitting the shore, there’s no denying the romantic appeal of a beachside wedding.

Wedding invitation company, Aura Print, analysed 70 of the most sought-after beach wedding destinations and discovered the UK’s most Instagrammable coastal wedding venues.

The elegant Georgian Fairyhill wedding venue at Burry Green on Gower came 3rd overall in the rankings with over 8,000 instagram pictures capturing guest’s special day.

Nearby Oldwalls, close to Llanrhidian ranked 10th overall with almost 4,000 instagram pictures. Both venues are owned by The Oldwalls Collection.

1. Tunnels Beaches, Devon

The stunning spot of Tunnels Beaches in Ilfracombe, Devon boasts over 13k hashtags on Instagram, making this the study’s number one pick.

Located on the beautiful North Devon coast, Tunnels Beaches is situated on a cliff top with hand carved tunnels down to a secluded private beach. The venue provides a thatched roof gazebo which overlooks the breathtaking Devon coastline for a picture-perfect backdrop. 

2. Lusty Glaze Beach Weddings, Cornwall

Taking our second most picturesque coastal spot is Lusty Glaze Beach in Newquay, Cornwall, with over 10k Instagram hashtags.

Fifth on our list with 6,794 Instagram hashtags is Polhawn Fort, Cornwall.

The fort is set high up on a cliff overlooking the sea, creating the ideal opportunity for photos.
