Rhossili Bay ranks as the 7th most loved beach in the UK, according to a new study

The travel and luggage experts at Bounce compiled a list of the UK’s most popular beaches according to social media, by analysing the number of TikTok views each location has on the platform, to reveal the top UK beaches to visit this summer!

With over 83.4 million TikTok views it’s no wonder that Brighton Beach takes the crown as the UK’s best beach. TikTok videos of Brighton Beach showcase the area’s diverse culinary scene, where travellers can visit a range of eateries and bars while visiting the waterfront. This viral hotspot has taken the social media platform by storm and this new data highlights the beach as the must-see spot this summer.

Weymouth Beach comes in second, known for its sandy shores and family atmosphere. With a staggering 64.7 million views on TikTok, families can enjoy live entertainment from puppet shows to musical performances, while taking in the ocean views or having a go at surfing. 

Kynance Cove also deserves a shout-out, with 8.5 million views dedicated to videos tagging the Cornish landscapes. This viral TikTok destination is often called one of the most beautiful places in Cornwall. 

Rhossili Bay was the top rated Welsh beach, with 5.5million views on TikTok. With 3 miles of sandy shore and one of Gower’s most famous landmarks, Worms Head; it’s been described as ‘The supermodel of British beaches’ by The Independent. The Atlantic swell provides great opportunity for watersports, particularly surfing whilst sand-castle builders benefit from the fine golden sand. You may even see some basking seals or dolphins playing in the surf!
