While the city may be known for it’s love of Beaujolais Day, organisers are hoping that there are plenty of gin and rum fans in the city to celebrate this September.

“We can’t wait to share the Gin & Rum Festival with the people of Swansea for the very first time” said owner Bobby Nanua, “We couldn’t have found a better venue to partner with than Brangwyn Hall which is a location that will help us to create a truly unique experience for our festival goers.”

“Ticket sales show us that people have really embraced the idea of us bringing the festival to  Swansea and now it’s about getting as many people to attend as possible so it becomes an  unforgettable first visit.”

This year so far over 50,000 people, all of whom on arrival receive a free stainless steel cup,  stainless steel straw, Gin & Rum guide, satchel & a snack plus a drink on departure, have  experienced the Gin and Rum Festival which includes an award winning DJ, live entertainment, unique & hand picked distillers to sample from and a bar with over 120 choices – including Wales’ own Frenchies’ Artisan Gin.

Organisers say the Gin & Rum Festival is an 18+ event only, and are encouraging people to drink responsibly. Tickets for the event are available at ginandrumfestival.com.
