Major fire damages Swansea trampoline park

Owners of Limitless trampoline park say they are “heartbroken” after fire broke out at the Swansea venue on Sunday evening.

Fire at Limitless trampoline park

Dramatic images show the Langdon Road building engulfed in flames as firefighters from as far away as Cardiff tackled the blaze.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service say they sent five fire appliances, two ladder appliances and a water bowser to the trampoline park around 10pm on Sunday evening.

The fire service said their crews left the scene at around 2.30am on Monday morning.

No injuries were reported.

In a statement, a spokesperson from Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 9.46pm on Sunday, October 1st, the Swansea Central, Swansea West, Morriston, Port Talbot, Neath and Tumble crews were called to an incident on Langdon Road, Swansea.

“Crews attended a single-storey industrial unit measuring 25m x 150m, used as an indoor trampoline park which was well alight.  Rapid fire spread occurred which broke through the roof of the building.

“Crews sectorised the incident and utilised two aerial appliances as water towers, two water bowsers, one high volume pumping unit, two breathing apparatus sets, six thermal imaging cameras and three main jets to extinguish the fire.

“Crews were assisted by South Wales Fire and Rescue Service and utilised Cardiff Central Fire Station’s aerial appliance and Kenfig Hill Fire Station’s water bowser.

“South Wales Police, the Ambulance Service and National Grid were also in attendance.

“Crews left the scene 2.16am on Monday, October 2nd.”

Writing on social media, the owners of Limitless said: “We are heartbroken. Unfortunately we will be closed until further notice due to a fire.

“We will be in touch with all future bookings when we can, but please bear with us.”
