The new-look store has been rebranded with hmv’s new logo and will adopt the new ‘hmv shop’ concept, offering fans of pop culture even more merchandise, vinyl, film, TV, and music technology.

Customers will be able to browse 5,000 different vinyl albums and 8,000 different CDs, as well as over 3,000 pop culture products, 750 different t-shirt designs, and 5,000 films and TV shows on 4K Ultra HD, Blu Ray and DVD.

What’s more, the first 25 customers to make a purchase received a free opening day goodie bag.

The store features a new performance space for local musicians and bands who want to get gig experience as part of the hmv Live&Local programme. People wishing to take part can contact staff in-store for details on how to perform. So far, the hmv Live&Local programme has seen over 1,000 gigs performed in stores nationwide.
