The store, on Bran Close in Swansea’s Enterprise Park, opened its doors on Monday (30 October) – but it’s planning a Grand Opening event on Saturday 11 November at 9am, where the first 200 customers through the doors will be greeted with a £20 gift voucher, followed by a free goody bag worth £25 for the next 100 groups.

Go Outdoors say the newly refurbished store will stock a wide range of unbeatable brands, such as Rab, OEX and Berghaus, as well as trusted brands like Peter Storm, Regatta and Hi-Gear.

GO Outdoors Swansea has refurbished the Naylors Lite and Fishing Republic Lite concessions, enabling customers to pick up specialist equipment for equestrian and angling activities alike. The store’s Bike365 concession supplies a range of bikes, accessories and servicing support, bringing the best cycling brands and knowledge to customers.

The 21,400 sq ft store employs a team of 47 and has a trained bike mechanic, as well as collection and drop-off points for parcels from online orders, DPD, Evri and UPS.

To celebrate the store’s new look, GO Outdoors Swansea is offering an extra 15% discount from 7th-20th November.

Lee Bagnall, CEO of GO Outdoors, says he is looking forward to the opening: “We are extremely excited and proud to open the newly refurbished GO Outdoors.

“We have had a brilliant couple of years at GO, as more and more people are reaping the benefits of the outdoors for their physical and mental well-being, and this expansion is the outcome of that success.

“We’re looking forward to offering more customers our unbeatable range of outdoor clothing, footwear and equipment, whilst also supporting local communities and offering jobs in Swansea.”
