Scott Andrews, 18, was due before Swansea Magistrates’ Court today, charged with wounding with intent. A second man, aged 25, remains on bail in connection with the incident.
Detective Inspector Dai Wells said: “We appreciate there has been concern amongst our communities about the perceived levels of crime and antisocial behaviour in the Neath area.
“There is a significant amount of proactive work ongoing by colleagues in the neighbourhood teams and within CID, and I hope the swift apprehension of those we believe to be responsible for this incident helps to reassure the public that tackling these issues remains a priority for us.”
