Swansea’s Victoria Park Kiosk reopens with famous pie still on the menu
The much loved kiosk at Swansea’s Victoria Park has reopened and its famous corned beef pie is still on the menu.

The kiosk and small café is run by Swansea Council’s Work Development Service in partnership with CREST and provides supervised opportunities for adults to develop their skills and confidence to bring them closer to employment.
Swansea Council’s Deputy Leader Andrea Lewis popped in to the kiosk this week to wish them well ahead of the opening.
With a five star food hygiene rating and reasonably priced homemade food it is also a favourite with the public and council staff from the nearby Guildhall.
Open between 9am to 3pm on Monday to Friday, dishes include jacket potatoes, salads, filled rolls and baguettes, but it is particularly well known for the homemade corned beef pie.
Swansea Council’s Cabinet Member for Well-being, Alyson Pugh, said: “I’m so pleased that the kiosk is reopening as our service users have missed the valued opportunities it brings.
“Over the years it has played a major part in the recovery journeys of more than 40 people.
“The placements provided are for food preparation as kitchen assistants, chef placement and counter assistants which are identified via both services on assessment and inclusion is part of their therapeutic day opportunity plans.
“It is not just our service users but the public and council staff in the Guildhall who also value the kiosk and its staff and I’m sure will be delighted it has reopened.
“For those who have never visited the kiosk – then if you are in the area I can thoroughly recommend it.”
