An 18 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery following an incident at a shop in Townhill.
South Wales Police say officers were called to Heol y Gors at around 4.25pm yesterday afternoon (Wednesday 9 February), following reports of a man confronting staff.
Detective Inspector Gareth Jones said: “It is believed the man entered the shop and made threats to staff whilst demanding money.
“Fortunately no-one was injured in the incident.”

The man is currently in police custody.
