In only the third match of the new campaign the Bluebirds will travel to the Swansea.com Stadium on Saturday 24th August, with the return fixture against Erol Bulut’s side at Cardiff City Stadium on the 18th January .
The Swans start away with a long trip up to Teesside to the Riverside Stadium where the opening day opposition will be Michael Carrick’s Middlesbrough on Saturday August 10, with kick-off for the fixture at 12.30pm.
Luke Williams’ side’s first home game is against Preston North End on the weekend of August 17, with a trip to the Midlands to face play-off semi-finalists West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns the first midweek league fixture of the season finishing the month on Wednesday August 31.

The Christmas run in sees a double header at home against Queen’s Park Rangers on Boxing Day, and relegated Luton Town on Sunday 29th December, before the New Year starts at Fratton Park against newly promoted Portsmouth.
The Easter weekend comprises a home meeting with Hull City on Good Friday before an Easter Monday trip to Queens Park Rangers.
The season rounds off with a home game against Oxford United, who will visit the Swansea.com Stadium for the first time on the weekend of May 3.
