The council say the two new unicorn pedalos have arrived at Singleton boating lake and are available to use for the 2024 summer season, thanks to financial assistance from the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF).
The council are now keen to hear what people think these brand-new unicorn pedalos should be called – and by doing so, you stand a chance to win an exciting 30-minute pedalo ride for a group of four on your selected unicorn, plus a ride on the Swansea Bay Land Rider.
The unicorns will have their names placed on each pedalo.
The council say the new additions to the watercraft fleet will allow visitors to embark on their own whimsical adventure of imagination and wonder.
Council cabinet member for Investment, Regeneration, Events & Tourism, Robert Francis-Davies said: “I wish everyone luck who enters this fantastic competition, it is great to see these new additions to Singleton Park Boating Lake.”
The competition will take place over the May bank holiday weekend, from Saturday 4th May to Monday 6th May.
To enter, fill out an entry form at the Singleton Park boating lake when you take a ride on the pedalos. The winners will be announced in mid-May.
Singleton Park pedalos, Swansea Bay Land Rider, Southend Gardens, and Singleton Crazy Golf are now open for the season until September 22nd, 2024. They are open every weekend and 7 days a week during the school holidays.
