Cuthbert, 34, has had a torrid time with injury since signing for Toby Booth’s side since joining from Exeter Chiefs in 2021.
Having recovered from a year out with a foot problem suffered in Wales’ Six Nations defeat against Scotland in Edinburgh last year, Cuthbert has featured on only three occasions for the Ospreys this term.
The former British and Irish Lions wings return had been a boost to Booth’s play-off chasing side, but it would be short-lived after a serious hamstring injury against Munster in March ended the veteran’s season and spell with the club.
Also moving to pastures new are Wales internationals George North and Nicky Smith, who previously announced their departures to join French side Provence and Gallagher Premiership heavyweights Leicester respectively.
Wings Toby Fricker and Mat Protheroe, flanker Will Hickey and scrum-half Cam Jones will also leave the Ospreys at the end of their current deals.
Ospreys head-coach Toby Booth speaking of the exits said:
“This part of the season is always a tough time, especially when you have to say goodbye to players that have given a lot to the club over the years.
“We wanted to get this announcement out prior to our last home fixture so that our supporters could join us in thanking the boys for everything they’ve contributed in an Ospreys jersey.”
The Ospreys face the Dragons in a must-win United Rugby Championship tie at the Swansea.com Stadium on Saturday afternoon with anything but a bonus point win likely to end their play-off challenge.
