CCTV image of man British Transport Police want to speak with after an attempted assault at Swansea train station

British Transport Police have released CCTV image of a man they want to speak with as part of investigations into an attempted assault on a railway staff member and anti-social behaviour at Swansea railway station.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “At around 12.40pm on Saturday 30 December, staff working at the information desk were approached by an aggressive man.

“Other staff members attended to attempt to deescalate the incident, the man attempted to punch one of them. He then left the station.

“Officers believe the man in the image may have information that could help their investigation.

“Anyone who recognises him, or has any other information, is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 2300154547.

“Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
