The 28-year-old has linked up with the squad ahead of Sunday’s West Wales derby against the Ospreys.
With Samson Lee sidelined by injury and Sam Wainwright unavailable, Jones is brought in to bolster front-row resources at Parc y Scarlets.
From Mold in North Wales, Jones is a former Wales U20s cap. He joined Sharks for a third spell in 2021-22 following stints at Cardiff, Perpignan, Doncaster and Coventry.

Jones made 11 appearances for the Sharks last season, including three in the Champions Cup.
