Mr Davies has been an MP for Swansea West since 2010. He was previously MP for Croydon Central between 1997 and 2005.
He was suspended from the Labour party in June 2023 after claims Davies had “multiple accusations of inappropriate behaviour toward junior female colleagues”.
He has stood as an Independent MP while the anonymous claims were being investigated – claims the 63-year-old MP said he did not “recognise”.
In a statement, Davies said he was “disappointed that I have yet to have a Labour Party hearing and the opportunity to clear my name”.
“As a result I am unable to stand as a Labour candidate in the forthcoming General Election and will continue to persue a fair hearing after it.”

The Swansea West constituency boundary has changed in this election after the Boundary Commission published its recommendations last year.
Five wards from the existing Swansea West constituency are moving to the Gower constituency, with parts of the current Swansea East constituency, including Morriston being included instead.
A Labour Party candidate for the new Swansea West seat has yet to be announced.
