The youngsters enjoyed trips to the beach, archery, skiing, horse riding, climbing and all sorts of games that allowed them to have a proper break during the summer and gain some independence from their families.
Action for Children’s NPT Swansea community short breaks project supports children and young people with disabilities to access community activities and provides overnight stays with Link Carers in the area.

Caroline Lewis, practice manager for NPT Swansea Community Short Breaks said: “We wouldn’t be able to do these kinds of trips without the generous help from the Tesco Blue Token scheme and their customers in the NPT Swansea area.
“Our young people benefit so much from being on a residential trip and trying many activities they haven’t done before. It’s been brilliant watching them develop as the trip goes on and their confidence grow.
“We’re all extremely grateful to Tesco and everyone who so kindly donated blue tokens to make Llangrannog happen.”
