The Oyster House has now been open and trading in the ever sought-after holiday destination of Mumbles for eight months, and now has been given a refresh in time for March before moving into the much awaiting Spring time.
The Oyster House makeover has seen some big changes to the layout as well as the décor, including some seaside murals on the floor in the conservatories.
Oyster House say there are also some changes coming to menus. You can still expect the seaside classics, such as the ever popular Oysters, however, there will be some more favourable dishes coming to the menu, such as the staple in seaside culture, fish and chips.

While being open, they say the site has seen its 16 boutique rooms welcome hundreds of customers, with views of the sea as well as dog-friendly and family-friendly rooms being available. The rooftop bar has also opened up to witness some of the best sunsets Wales has to offer. This part of Oyster House will also have a facelift during the mini transformation, with sofas to settle into while enjoying the view.

After the success of events in 2022, such as the Faulty Towers dining experience and music from the extremely talented Welsh soprano Mari Wyn Williams, The Oyster House say they’re now also ready to take on large bookings for weddings and private parties.
The site is also looking to host more events for the public, including S.O.S – Sounds on Sundays, where you and the family can enjoy a Sunday roast, Seafood followed by acoustic sounds from local artists, and enjoy a sunset across the bay, if you’re lucky!
