Cadbury branded deserts pulled from shelves in Listeria concerns
A number of Cadbury branded deserts have been recalled after fears of Listeria contamination the Food Standards Agency (FSA) have warned.

The affected deserts, all produced under licence by dairy giant Müller, have the use by dates of 17 and 18 May.
Symptoms caused by this Listeria monocytogenes can be similar to flu and include high temperature, muscle ache or pain, chills, feeling or being sick and diarrhoea.
Some people are more vulnerable to listeria infections, including those over 65 years of age, pregnant women and their unborn babies, babies less than one month old and people with weakened immune systems.
The affected deserts are:
- Cadbury Daim Chocolate Desert (75g) – Use by date: 18 May.
- Cadbury Crunchie Chocolate Desert (75g) – Use by date: 17 May.
- Cadbury Flake Chocolate Desert (75g) – Use by date: 17 May.
- Cadbury Dairy Milk Chunks Chocolate Desert (75g) – Use by date: 18 May.
- Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons Chocolate Desert (75g) – Use by date: 18 May.
- Cadbury Heroes Chocolate Desert (6 pack) (6 x 75g) – Use by date: 18 May.
The use-by dates can be found on the product lid. No other Müller or its Cadbury branded deserts are affected.
A spokesperson for the FSA said: “If you have bought any of the above products do not eat them. Instead, return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund (with or without a receipt). For more information contact Müller on team_cccare@muller.co.uk or 07354 835 893.”
