Dramatic photos show the blaze at the rural location, which could be seen for miles around.
Crews from Carmarthen, Tumble, Pontyates and Whitland were called to the incident on Thursday evening.
Thankfully no casualties were reported and the fire was extinguished, with firefighters returning this morning to dampen down a remaining ‘hot spot’.

A spokesman from Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 7.22pm on Thursday, April 27th, crews from Carmarthen, Pontiets, Tumble and Whitland responded to an incident at Nant y Bwla, Carmarthen.
“On arrival, one garage measuring approximately 15mx6m was well alight and crews extinguished the fire using four hose reel jets, two thermal imaging cameras, a short extension ladder and one water bowser.
“Crews proceeded to cool hot spots and conducted an inspection of the attic space of an adjoining property for fire spread and hot spots. Crews continued to dampen down and monitored the temperature in the attic space. No casualties were reported.
“The Carmarthen crew conducted a re-inspection of the property at 6.41am on Friday, April 28th, which found one small hot spot which was dampened down.”
