Rasoi, which has restaurants in SA1 and Pontlliw, teamed up with local charity, Faith in Families, which supports families and children in need throughout the city, to deliver its ‘12 Days of Christmas’ campaign.

Twelve local businesses, including Rasoi, donated a total of 1,800 items, including a mix of luxury items like selection boxes and Prosecco as well as basic essentials like washing up liquid as families are increasingly telling the charity that even the basics now feel like a luxury.

Rasoi’s festive tuk tuk collected the items every day over the last 12 days and delivered them to Cwtch Mawr, Faith in Families’ multibank in Llansamlet.

Suki Kullar, owner of Rasoi, said:

“We are thrilled to be able to support Faith in Families this Christmas with our 12 Days of Christmas campaign. We’ve worked closely with the charity for the past couple of years, and we wanted to do something extra special for them this year.

“The involvement from other local businesses was fantastic, and it was great to see just how many of them wanted to participate alongside us.

“The campaign has been so well received, and we hope that we’ve helped to spread some cheer this Christmas to many local families in our community who are really struggling to make ends meet. We also hope it’s helped to further raise awareness of the brilliant work that Faith in Families do each day within our city.”
