42-year-old Wayne Leyh, from Cwmgors, committed numerous shoplifting offences at Tesco stores across the Swansea and Neath Port Talbot area – most notably in Neath Abbey and Pontardawe.
South Wales Police have welcomed Leyh’s sentencing, who has also been banned from all Tesco stores in Neath Port Talbot.
Sergeant Will John from South Wales Police said: “This conviction is another success as part of our drive to deal with repeat offenders, and to tackle the negative impact that they have on our communities.

“In addition to his custodial sentence, we have also issued Wayne Leyh with a community protection notice not to enter any Tesco store in Neath Port Talbot.”
