Police name man who died after car crashed into Swansea Marina

South Wales Police have named the man who died after his vehicle crashed through barriers at Swansea Marina and entered the water.

The 52-year-old man has been named as Andrew Harding from Swansea.

Detective Inspector Chris Evans from South Wales Police said: “Following on from yesterday’s incident where a car had gone into the water at Swansea Marina, I can confirm that the name of the deceased is 52-year-old Andrew Harding from Swansea.

“His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist trained officers.

“The death is being treated as unexplained at this time and enquiries are continuing to ascertain the full circumstances behind the incident.”
